Cinema Week is a nationwide campaign to unite cinemas and to put butts in seats. Whether you’re a cinema owner or a moviegoer, Cinema Week is here to celebrate and preserve the culture of going to the movies by giving both a collective point in time to rally around.
Cinema Week was created and launched during a time when movie theaters were on the ropes, attempting to dodge swing after swing the pandemic through at them. But like any boxing movie, the hero doesn’t go down without a fight.
From a cinephiles to exhibition leaders, the challenge of creating a series of messaging campaigns to identify with both the frequent moviegoer and theater owner was to blend their cultures together by using popular movies quotes and altering the focus to represent iconic cinema phrasing.
