A unique, burger joint nestled in the fourth-floor lobby of a luxurious movie theater in downtown Birmingham. Inspired by poster art of early 50’s monster movies, Four Story Burger’s brand fit snugly within the surrounding cinematic environment.

A monstrous burger that isn’t afraid to destroy your hunger. Chef Annabel Cohen developed a classic, but incredibly tasty sandwich using locally-sourced ingredients including freshly baked buns from Crispelli’s bakery.

Located in downtown Birmingham, Four Story Burger targeted the markets of young professionals in the area looking for a tasty lunch and movie theater guests looking for a bigger bite than just popcorn — both markets demanded speedy service with made to order operations.

Being located on the fourth floor of the Emagine Palladium building, while inspiring the name of the restaurant, presented a unique challenge: how do you let the world know you exist without the advantage of outdoor foot-traffic and signage? Put your neon sign across the ceiling at just the right angle so it can be seen through the windows from the street below.
